Charlene Ann Toller

Charlene Ann (Clark) Toller, 81 years of age, of Peebles, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at her residence, surrounded by her loving family. Charlene was born on March 28, 1945, in Dayton, Ohio, the daughter of the late Clarence and Margaret (LeMaster) Clark. After her graduation from high school in 1963, Charlene married Thomas R Toller on June 1, 1963. Together, they raised two sons, Thomas R Toller, Jr., and Christopher A Toller. Charlene entered into God's Family in 1972 and was called into the ministry in December 1976. She studied at home from God's Bible School for a while and was ordained in 1978. During the next several years, Charlene preached in several churches in Scioto, Pike, and Adams Counties, including the Peebles Holiness Mission. She also began a reach-out Mission, for which she and her husband labored until their deaths. Charlene is survived by her sons and their wives, Rick and Michele Toller, of North Carolina; and Chris and Stephanie Toller, of Lynchburg. Charlene also leaves her brother, Clarence "Buddy" Clark, Jr., of Lynx; and her sisters, Wanda and Kerm Larson, of Texas; and Diane Tolle, of Rarden, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and relatives. Charlene will be missed by her four grandsons and their wives, Caleb and Sara Toller; Daniel and Keyara Toller; and Nathan and Courtney Toller, all of Lynchburg; and Jacob Toller, of Wilmington; as well as her three great-grandchildren, Owen, Oliver, and Micah. Most especially, Charlene will be mourned by her church family who have been so dear to her, and her many friends in this area and across several states, including the brothers and sisters and mission workers she treasured. In addition to her parents, Charlene was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Toller, who passed away on June 6, 2016. Family and friends may pay their respects during visitation on Saturday, August 8, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm, at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home, in Peebles. Funeral services will be held following the visitation on Saturday, August 8, 2026, beginning at 12:00 pm, at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home. Randy Abbott will officiate the funeral service. The burial will follow at the Evergreen Cemetery, in Peebles. Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home.
