Connie Sue Cluxton

Connie Sue (Robinson) Cluxton, age 69, of Peebles, Ohio, entered into her eternal rest with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, on August 27, 2026. She was preceded in death by her parents Hollie Robinson and Mildred (King) Robinson, her brother Steve Robinson, sister Diane King, her son Brian Cluxton, and her niece Gina (Smalley) Carroll. She is survived by her two sons, Chris (Melinda) Cluxton and Steve Cluxton, both of Peebles, and her three grandchildren, Skylar Seaman, Brooklyn Cluxton, and Wyatt Cluxton, her sister Joyce (Toby) Smalley of Lucasville, Ohio, nephew Nathan (Amy) Smalley and great niece's Lynlee, Maci, and Abbi Smalley, all of Lucasville, Ohio and her niece Stephanie (Paul) Thao and her children Anthony and Ian, all of Wisconsin. Connie was a hard worker, being employed at the Peebles Save-A-Lot and lastly the Peebles Marathon station. She spent her life working to provide for her children and grandchildren who she dearly loved with all her heart. Connie left behind a great testimony for her Lord Jesus Christ. She asked Him into her heart in 2016 during the fall revival at Union Hill Church with the late Rev. Curtis Sheets preaching. She was faithful in attending every church service until her health prevented it. She hated to miss and always complained that watching it online was not the same as being there. She loved the Lord and always gave a great testimony to family and friends about how the Lord had been good to her and was with her always, providing her with grace and mercy and her daily needs. When asked if she was scared of dying she said no, she was ready to meet her Lord but hated to leave her family behind and constantly said she wants to see them all again someday. She also said she was looking forward to seeing Brian and Gina again and the rest of her family that is already in heaven. Connie was very thankful for all those that have helped her as her health deteriorated, for all the phone calls, visits, texts, cards, and especially the prayers. Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. The family wants to thank Pastor Bud and Christine Brabson for all you have done, Union Hill Church for the kindness you have shown and all the prayers and support, and The Wallace Thompson Funeral Home for taking care of the arrangements.
