Richard Heppard Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Richard Heppard, 86 years of age, of Peebles, Ohio, passed away on Friday, December 8, 2023, at Highland District Hospital, in Hillsboro, Ohio. Richard was born on October 17, 1937, in Peebles, the son of the late Starley and Thelma (Pence) Heppard. Richard was a member of the Evergreen Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, Richard was preceded in death by his brother, Earl Heppard. He is survived by his wife, Susie (Jenkins) Heppard, of Peebles, whom he married on February 6, 1960. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughters, Sally Styles, of West Union and Sandy Heppard, of Peebles, along with his brother, Dean Heppard, of Florida. Richard will be dearly missed by his four grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Family and friends may pay their respects during visitation on Tuesday, December 12, 2023, from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm, at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home, in Peebles. Funeral services will be held following visitation on Tuesday, December 12, 2023, beginning at 1:00 pm, at the Wallace Thompson Funeral Home, in Peebles. Bud Ritchie will officiate the service. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, in Peebles. Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Wallace-Thompson funeral home, in Peebles.
