Ruth is survived by her husband of 56 years, Virgil Stidham, Sr., whom she married in 1963; and by her three daughters, Betty Jane (Clarence) Patterson, of Dayton; Erma Stephens, of Rockwood, Tennessee; and Marsha (Ken ) Grover, of Fern Park, Florida.
