Obituary

Thelma E Link, 87 years, of Hillsboro, Ohio, passed away on Monday, September 28, 2020, at the Hospice of Hope Inpatient Center, in Maysville, Kentucky.
Thelma was born in Adams County, Ohio, on May 10, 1933, the daughter of the late Alfred Earl and Lora (Eyler) Hughes. Thelma took great pleasure in caring for her home and family; she also owned and operated a ceramic store in Winchester. She was well known for her detailed painted ceramic pieces, which were mostly Christmas themed. She loved decorating for the holidays and making all her friends and family caramel popcorn. She was a member of the Winchester First Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents, Thelma was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Edgar Link, who passed on July 23, 2009; a brother, Charles Bailey; and a grandson, Derek Link. She is survived by three sons, Terry Link, of Lynx; Mike (Shirley) Link, of Winchester; and Scott Link, of Winchester; and a daughter, Kendra (Nathan) Stice, of Fayetteville. She also leaves a sister, Juanita (Larry) Davidson, of Hillsboro. Thelma will be missed by her eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
The family is planning a memorial service to honor Thelma’s memory. It is to be held on Saturday, October 10, 2020, at 4:00 PM, at the Winchester First Church of Christ.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made in Thelma’s name to the Hospice of Hope. Donations may be made at www.hospiceofhope.com, or by mail to Hospice of Hope, Inc., 909 Kenton Station, Maysville, Kentucky 41056.

Sorry for your loss
Thelma was not just someone I took care of but a Dear Friend and she will be greatly missed !
In the short time I got to know her she made me feel like part of her family. From the porch stores of her beautiful flowers at the farm house she enjoyed sharing photos of her family and telling stories of each one of her children and grandchildren and son in-law that made her laugh. From vacations to new additions As well as Christmas open house at the farm to laughing over her favorite candy to helping her decorate with her beautiful Ceramics that she made and painted herself. Thelma you were a wonderful lady and a great friend. Love you and miss you🌺💕
