Janetta Jackson Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Janetta G. (Wescott) Jackson, 58 years of age, of Seaman, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, July 17, 2025, at her residence. Janetta was born on February 10, 1967, in Monticello, Indiana, the daughter of the late Hubert and Charlotte (Lambert) Wescott. Janetta was a devoted homemaker who took great pride in caring for her family and home. She was a member of the Youngsville Pentecostal Holiness Church. Janetta is survived by her husband, Troy Jackson, her daughter, Victoria and Chris Cornell, of Otway; and her son, Troy and Brittany Jackson, of Seaman; as well as her sisters, Ruth Anne Kimberly, of West Union; Debbie and Michael Hymer, of West Union; and Teresa Isaac, of Berea, Kentucky; and a brother, Danny and Rhonda Wescott, of West Union. Janetta will be greatly missed by her three grandchildren, Leland, Landon and Leah, as well as several nieces and nephews, and many friends and family members. In addition to her parents, Janetta was preceded in death by one brother, Billy Wescott; and a brother-in-law, Brian Isaacs. Family and friends may pay their respects during visitation on Tuesday evening, July 22, 2025, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, at the Lewis-Sullivan Chapel of the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Homes, in Seaman, Ohio. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday morning, July 23, 2025, beginning at 11:00 am, at the Youngsville Pentecostal Holiness Church, in Seaman. Doug Hymer will officiate the service. Janetta's burial will follow in the Cherry Fork Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Lewis-Sullivan Chapel of the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Homes.
