Mike Stout

"Enjoy the ride, I'll rest when I die" Michael Dennis Stout "Stouty" , 60 years of age, of Winchester, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at his residence, surrounded by his loving family. Mike was born on August 10, 1964, in West Union. He was a son of the late David and Iva (Holbrook) Stout. In addition to his parents, Mike was preceded in death by his wife Cyndi (Neal) Stout, who passed away on February 2, 2020, as well as his brother, David Glenn Stout who passed in February of 1996. Mike was a 1982 graduate of North Adams high school in where he attended Ohio Valley vocational school where he took machine shop. Mike was known for also being athletic where he participated in baseball, bowling, and golf. Mike was very competitive in all that he did. Which led him to succeeded in whatever he chose to do, which also included pacer racing at the horse track. Mike was raised on a tobacco farm in Winchester and was no stranger to hard work. He was also a retired machinist. He had worked at GE, Hobart, and lastly, at the atomic energy plant in Piketon, where he retired from. Mike was also a former member of the Winchester volunteer fire department and Winchester town Council. Mike was so full of energy that he could never be idle, not even during his retirement. So he started his own lawn mowing and landscaping business that he called Stouty's lawn care. During his free time he was an avid fisherman, and spent endless amounts of time with his grandsons Jaxon, William and Lane. Creating such good memories that those little boys will never forget. Mike also loved being on the road and spent countless hours on his Honda shadow motorcycle. in his final years, he had rekindled a relationship with his high school, sweetheart Annette Black. With Annette, Michael was able to live life to his fullest, found his way to God, and found a new lease on life. The Stout family is truly blessed to have Annette in our lives. Mike is survived by his son, Zach Stout and Jessica Marion, of West Union, his daughter, Kalee (Stout) and Brian Steffen, of Elsmere, Kentucky, and his fiancé, Annette Black of Winchester. Mike also leaves his brothers, Jeff Stout, of Newport; Kentucky, Jamie Stout, of Dayton; and a sister, Katrina (Stout) and Josh Cundiff, of Eastgate, his two grandsons, William and Jaxon, and nieces and nephews, Ashton, Caleb and Ethan Family and friends may pay the respect during visitation on Thursday, March 27, 2025, from 4 PM to 6 PM, at the Lewis-Sullivan Funeral Home in Seaman. Funeral services will be held immediately following visitation, on Thursday, March 27, 2025, beginning at 6 PM, at the Lewis-Sullivan Funeral Home, in Seaman, with Dan Harrison and Robbie Blythe officiating. Following Mike's wishes, he is to be cremated with a private family burial to be held at a later date. Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Lewis-Sullivan Funeral Home.
