Sandy Kay Manning

Sondra Kay "Sandy" Manning, 67, of Winchester, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at Bethesda North Hospital in Montgomery, Ohio. Sandy was born on April 15, 1958, in Wilmington, Ohio. She was the daughter of the late Alvin "Sunny" and Dorothy (Bradley) Baker. On April 8, 1978, she married the love of her life, Robert "Bob" Manning. She is also survived by her three children: Jessica (Nathan) Cornette of Winchester, Ohio; Melissa (David) Brown of Seaman, Ohio; and Jason (Taryn) Manning of West Union, Ohio. Sandy was a proud and loving grandmother to Kelsey (Ian) Young, Hunter Brown, Kensley Cornette, Caleb Brown, Kade Cornette, Ryker Manning, and Bristol Manning, all of whom she cherished deeply. Sandy is also survived by her sister, Vickey (the late Gary) Savage, and her brother, Rick (Tammy) Baker. After growing up and graduating from high school in California, Sandy moved with her family to Ohio, where she soon met Bob. Their love story was one for the ages-they were engaged within three months and married just three months later. Together, they built a life rooted in love, faith, and hard work, spending many years working side by side at their family business, Manning Packing Co. Sandy found her greatest joy in spending time with her family. She will always be remembered for her warm smile, kind heart, and the love she shared so freely with those around her. She was a faithful member of Bethlehem Church of Christ. Sandy's legacy of love, devotion, and strength will live on through her family and all who knew her. Friends and family may pay their respects during visitation on Sunday, March 29th, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at the Bethlehem Church of Christ, in Winchester. Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 30th, at 11:00 a.m. at the Bethlehem Church of Christ, with burial to follow at Cherry Fork Cemetery. Tom Claibourne will officiate the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Bethlehem Church of Christ or the ALS United Foundation in Sandy's memory.
